At Vanier, we believe the children and families we work with deserve the best possible services. We work hard to ensure that the help we give is professional and offered in a way that respects the rights and individual needs of each child and family we see. Please let us know if we have done something especially helpful.

We know there are times when a child, family or child, family, or community member may not be fully satisfied with our services. When this happens, we encourage you to let us know. We have a complaint procedure that you can use to let us know when there is a problem (i.e., service complaint, violation of use of personal health information, client rights violation, etc.). Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

Vanier is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that reflects the diverse communities it serves. In alignment with Vanier's Strategic Plan for 2023 - 2027, developing an EDIB framework is crucial to realizing its mission, vision, and values.

The vision to develop an Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) strategy, roadmap, and operational action plan is critical to Vanier aligning seamlessly with Vanier's Strategic Plan for 2023 - 2027. EDIB is a foundational driver integral to the strategic plan, mobilizing the organization's mission, vision, and values. It is essential for building a foundation of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging by implementing anti-racism, decolonization, and anti-oppression practices throughout Vanier's programs and services. Additionally, it enhances community outreach to ensure equitable access to care for everyone. The strategic goal is to implement an EDIB framework while facilitating knowledge and capacity for an equitable workplace that fosters community engagement and co-creation of an accessible care system for all.
