Meredith Whitney

Meredith is a Scrum Master at Libro Credit Union where she has worked since 2015. In her current role, she is a huge advocate for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, promoting transparency, and building cohesive teams that help deliver exceptional value to Libro’s Owners. She is passionate about creating safe spaces where people can learn and excel in their work and plans to bring this mindset to her role as Board Chair. She decided to become a part of Vanier’s Board of Directors in an effort to give back to the London Community and the mental health field.

In 2017, she graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences, minoring in Psychology. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Health Sciences from Western University. Growing up in Goderich, Ontario, she volunteered in multiple capacities in the Public Health field. Her education and experience to understand mental health challenges within her own family as a young child led to her passion for mental health awareness and health promotion. While she does not currently work in healthcare, she hopes to leverage her passion, continuous improvement mindset, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to guide Vanier towards its mission. Ultimately creating a positive impact on Vanier and the community it serves.
