Rob van der Westen

Robert van der Westen has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He is the Director of a medium-sized, employee-owned engineering firm. His role includes developing client relationships, human resources management, financial management, and defining the marketing strategies and corporate identity of this learning organization.

He attained his undergraduate degree from Western University and his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. Post graduation, Robert became certified as a human resources leader.

Born and raised in London, Robert’s passion for community service is evidenced through his roles as past vice chair at London Intercommunity Health Center and Museum London, where he has also chaired the property, finance, and risk committees. Robert considers his most important role as “dad” to his son Jaxon.
